Since the holiday shopping season is here, what MST3K products do you wish you could really buy? They could come from an invention exchange, a host segment or the movie itself. I know several years ago someone tried to sell a rolling treadmill, like the one the Mads demonstrated in “Lost Continent,” but personally I’d just like a bowl of Wild Rebels cereal right about now.
What do you think, sirs?
I think one of those Manos capes would be very dashing.
Your pick?

John D.F. Black, perhaps best remembered as a writer, screenwriter, story editor, executive story consultant and associate producer on “Star Trek: The Original Series” during its first season, died peacefully of natural causes at the Motion Picture Hospital in Woodland Hills, California on Nov. 29. He was 85.
MSTies will know his work from early in his career when, using the pen name Geoffrey Dennis, he wrote the screenplay for the movie in episode 320- THE UNEARTHLY.
There’s a very nice and complete remembrance of him here.
Thanks to Tim for the heads up.

Last week we discussed movies so bad that they were a waste of film stock. Aesop is said to have said “No kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” Perhaps we could try finding something good in these worst movies, no matter how small?
I nominate The Master’s cape in MANOS, THE HANDS OF FATE. It was cool.
I’ll go with Batwoman’s necklace. Very tasteful.
Your pick?
