![]() John D.F. Black, perhaps best remembered as a writer, screenwriter, story editor, executive story consultant and associate producer on “Star Trek: The Original Series” during its first season, died peacefully of natural causes at the Motion Picture Hospital in Woodland Hills, California on Nov. 29. He was 85. MSTies will know his work from early in his career when, using the pen name Geoffrey Dennis, he wrote the screenplay for the movie in episode 320- THE UNEARTHLY. There’s a very nice and complete remembrance of him here. Thanks to Tim for the heads up. Alert reader Jay suggests:
I’ll go with Batwoman’s necklace. Very tasteful. Your pick?
A “just the jokes” release. Get it here. |
