From the London Toy Fair we have news that Funko Pop will create MST3K figures. Stay tuned for more info when we get it.
I feel like we did this, but I searched and couldn’t find anything.
So let’s go with Rick’s suggestion:
I’d suggest a darker ending to “Robot Holocaust” — just when everybody thinks it’s all over — cut to Torg … whose eyes light up. Your suggestion?
Short: (1949) Helpful advice to make you a better public speaker. First shown: 12/17/94 • I maintain that this is easily the worst movie MST3K ever did, and is in the running for worst movie EVER MADE (and, yes, I’ve seen “The Apple”). And for that reason, I LOVE this episode. The badness really drives M&tB at great riffing heights. And that doesn’t even count the wonderful, hilarious short. And host segments are a lot of fun too. ![]() Here’s where you can see them: * Thursday, Jan. 19, 6 p.m. at the SF Sketchfest NightLife at the California Academy of Sciences, 55 Music Concourse Drive in San Francisco. The Mads will be part of “an amazing night of comedy, science, eating and drinking for adults over 21!” * Friday, Jan. 20, at 9 p.m. at the Alamo Drafthouse at the New Mission, 2550 Mission St. in San Francisco. More info here. * Friday, Jan. 27 and Saturday, Jan. 28, at 8:30 p.m. both nights (different movies each night) at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Park North, 618 NW Loop 410 in San Antonio, TX. * Thursday, Feb. 16, at 7:30 p.m. at the Greenwich Odeum, East Greenwich, RI. More info here. * Friday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, 445 Albee Square W, Brooklyn, NY. More info here. Another example of a WDT coming out of this week’s episode guide entry:
“Kansas” said:
To which “Sitting Duck” replied:
Good idea!! I’d pick the various people who hurl themselves against Tor in “Bride of the Monster.” Don’t make me laugh. What’s your pick? |
