But you can see it here:
Our pals at the Colonial Theater in Phoenixville, PA, are showing episode 519- OUTLAW (OF GOR) on Saturday, June 4, at 2 p.m.
Shout! Factory has added a shorts section to its streaming site, ShoutFactoryTV.
Also, ShoutFactoryTV has also added the following MST3k episodes this month: Rocket Attack USA and Time of the Apes. Thanks to our buddy Paul for the heads up.
Short: (1947) College students are reminded that they need to bathe and wear clean clothes if they hope to get some. First shown: 9/26/93 • It was certainly a bold move, picking this movie, and westerns are always fun to riff, even westerns like this one, that do it doggy style. But I have to put this in the “good not great” category, something like the previous episode. The movie’s just a little too good (I actually got caught up in the story), while the riffing and segments are hit and miss. This has been on YouTube for a while, but our buddy Timmy just alerted us to it. Canadian artist Charles Pacter, who played little Johnny in the short “Johnny at the Fair” did a short documentary about the experience of tracking down the director of the movie. Also featured in the film, Charles’ mom, who played Johnny’s mom in the short. Sadly there is no mention of MST3K in it.
