PHOENIX–Prolific actor Peter Brown, whose nearly 50-year career included hundreds of roles in movies and TV, died at his home here of Parkinson’s disease. Veteran actor James Douglas died March 5. He was 86.Douglas played many roles on daytime soap operas, including “As the World Turns,” “One Life to Live,” “The Edge of Night,” “The Doctors” and Elliott Carrington on “Another World.” He also appeared in feature films, including 1960’s “G.I. Blues” and 1962’s “Sweet Bird of Youth.” Early in his career, though uncredited, he played a communications man in the movie in episode 906- THE SPACE CHILDREN.
