Joel, Josh & Trace Provide Commentary Track on ‘The Heat’ DVD

Several people have alerted me to the fact that the DVD and BluRay for the Sandra Bullock/Melissa McCarthy comedy “The Heat” contains “…hilarious audio commentaries featuring Melissa McCarthy, Director Paul Feig, the Original Mystery Science Theater 3000 Guys…”
I tweeted Feig yesterday and he confirms that refers to Joel, Josh and Trace.
If somebody gets it, give us a report in the comments, please.

Help a MSTie Out

I’ve heard from a fellow who bought two tickets to the Nov. 2 Cinematic Titanic show in Northampton. It’s two seats in the fifth row of the balcony. But now he can’t make it after all. He’s hoping there is somebody in the Mass. area who might want them. He paid $67 including fees.

Email me at msampo at aol dot com if you can take them off his hands and I will put you in touch with him.

Speaking of the Many Names of Dave Ryder…

Alert reader Dylan sent this along…

BigMcLargeHugeESPN

Attached is an amusing picture a fellow MST recently posted on my Twitter feed, it’s a screencap from an ESPN news break. I’m not sure what the context is (maybe a fellow reader could enlighten us), but apparently there’s a coach out there who some sports fans feel is more than worthy of Dave Ryder’s celebrated bravado.
