PALM SPRINGS, CALIF.–Actor Richard Lynch, who employed his platinum hair and scarred face to play villainous characters in such films as “Bad Dreams” and “The Sword and the Sorcerer,” was found dead at his home Tuesday. He was 76. MSTies will remember him as Noel in the movie in episode 904- WEREWOLF.
The AP has the story here.
Posted by Sampo, on June 17th, 2012 A guy named Hemanth Kissoon runs a site called Filmulation.com. Admitting he had never ever heard of MST3K before (which tells me he is probably in England) he takes a look at the new Blu-Ray MST3K: The Movie. With zero context to support his viewing, he unsurprisingly hates it.

It’s a comedy show benefitting the Vital Life Foundation and Alzheimer’s Association. You can find ticketing information HERE.

I was thinking this morning, what with vacation season coming close, what places in MSTied movies would make a good vacation spots. I was thinking of two, specifically. The first would be far side of the moon. An astronomy vacation would be much better without all that annoying atmosphere. The second would be a visit with Crenshaw to see the little creature?
What’s yours?
Thanks for asking. I’d like to visit Trollenberg Mountain from “The Crawling Eye.” I’ll keep an eye out for suspicious cloud formations…
What’s your pick?
Posted by Sampo, on June 15th, 2012 It’s been a little while since we’ve gotten a new entry from RiffTrax (I assume they’ve been working on the live show), but they’re back…

Download it and see a sample.
