An alert emailer who does not give his or her name suggests, following up on the recent thred in which we asked which MST3K character would you invite for Thanksgiving dinner…
Okay, a LITTLE harsh (but only a little). I was thinking something more along the lines of my choice: I would get Kenny some long pants. What would be your pick? Money is no object!  As previously announced, the VOD release for “Santa Claus and the Ice Cream Bunny” is now available. [The burn-to-DVD version is coming soon.] Watch a sample and download it here. As if that wasn’t enough, there’s a new short… Our friends at tvshowsondvd.com tell us that Amazon is listing a release date of March 8, 2011 and a retail price of $41.99 for the MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000: VOLUME XX DVD set. Our pal Daniel Griffith of Ballyhoo Pictures, the guy who made several of those awesome extras on the recent Shout! Factory sets, has set up an ebay store to sell holiday gift sets he’s assembled, including collections aimed specifically at MST3K fans. Take a look. Frank Conniff made another appearance on “Countdown With Keith Olbermann” last night, this time as Countdown’s “War on Christmas Correspondent.” You can watch it here.
