Our friends at tvshowsondvd.com tell us that Amazon is listing a release date of March 8, 2011 and a retail price of $41.99 for the MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000: VOLUME XX DVD set. Amazon has also posted the following cover art:
There’s still no word on what extras will be included, but we’ll let you know as soon as we find out. If you’d like to pre-order the set, we’d appreciate it if you used THIS LINK. Another holiday gift option for the MSTie on your list:
Our pal Daniel Griffith of Ballyhoo Pictures, the guy who made several of those awesome extras on the recent Shout! Factory sets, has set up an ebay store to sell holiday gift sets he’s assembled, including collections aimed specifically at MST3K fans. Take a look. Frank Conniff made another appearance on “Countdown With Keith Olbermann” last night, this time as Countdown’s “War on Christmas Correspondent.” You can watch it here. Because these appearances always seem to produce overtly political comments, we are closing comments for this post. ShoutFactory.com is now carrying Darkstar products: the video game, the 2-CD soundtrack, a PDF of the official game guide, and a special bundle that includes all that and more. Check it out here.
On his blog, astronomer Phil Plait, host of the Discovery Channel’s “Bad Astronomy” has a list books that are good gifts for science geeks.
Not sure how Trace’s “Silly Rhymes for Belligerent Children” fits the category, but, hey, a plug’s a plug! Thanks to J/P for the heads up. |
