RiffTrax is holding a costume contest over on Facebook from now through the day of the House on Haunted Hill live show. Just post a picture of yourself wearing a costume (preferably from a RiffTrax movie) and each week one or more winners will receive a pair of tickets to see the show. The last winner chosen will receive a signed RiffTrax poster and gift certificate instead of tickets.
You can now order Trace Beaulieu’s weird and wonderful “Silly Rhymes for Belligerent Children,” with illustrations by our pal Len Peralta. We’ve read it, and it’s hilarious. It’s the perfect gift for all the belligerent children you know! ![]() Tickets are now on sale for the next RiffTrax Live event Thursday, Oct. 28, at 8 p.m. Eastern time, 7 p.m. Central time, 6 p.m. Mountain time and tape delayed show at 8 p.m. on the West Coast. They will be riffing on the horror classic “House on Haunted Hill.” Joining Mike, Kevin and Bill to riff on a short will be comedian Paul F. Tompkins. As in the past there will be free digital goodies after the event. You can find the closest theater to you and buy tickets here. Alert reader Doug asks:
I’m going to go with our favorite little monkey boy, Sid Melton, in “Lost Continent” and “Radar Secret Service.” Who do you think is the worst? You may have heard that “Elvira’s Movie Macabre” is back on TV (in syndication, here’s a list of the stations that are showing it).
How is this on-topic (besides the fact that most MSTies are generally into this kinda show)? Well, to begin with, the teaser promo mentions MST3K by name, sort of. Thanks to Ben Hall in the comments for this list:
Okay, that makes a total of eight (plus one Film Crew and one Cinematic Titanic title) out of 26. Not quite so tragic. |
