BRIDEPORT, CONN. — Composer Gerald Fried, who won an Emmy for his work on the landmark miniseries “Roots” and who worked on 1960s scores, from “Star Trek” to “Gilligan’s Island,” died of pneumonia Feb. 17 at St. Vincent’s Hospital here. He was 95.

George P. Wilbur, an actor and stuntman, who is best known for his portrayal of Michael Myers in several installments of the “Halloween” film franchise. He was 81.

Early in his career, as a “walker man,” he did stunts for the movie in episode 811 – PARTS: THE CLONUS HORROR.
