As I was watching “Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster” this last week, I noticed that the boat that the hero commandeered was named the Yahlen. Now that must have been a popular name for the Japanese or there was a continuity error, since the ship that was destroyed in the opening scene was also named the Yahlen. This started me thinking that the subject of continuity errors or goofs in the films MSTied might be a good weekend thread topic. My wife and I came up with about a half a dozen just off the tops of our heads. But, it might be interesting what our other erudite MSTies have discovered.
My all-time fave continuity error is in episode 423- BRIDE OF THE MONSTER, in which two characters have a conversation. When the one of the actresses is shot from one side she has a pencil behind her ear. When shot from the other side, she doesn’t. The pencil appears and disappears repeatedly as the scene goes on.

The Titans were very well spoken and funny. I could grumble that Olbermann was a bit long-winded and self-congratulatory, but reports are that the appearance quickly crashed the cinematictitanic.com server, so if all this translates into sales, that’s the most important thing, I’m sure.
HATE MAIL, the play written by Bill Corbett and Kira Obolensky, will be performed on Saturday, May 1 from 9:00pm – 11:30pm at the Teatro Araldo, Via Chiomonte 3, in Torino, Italy. You can get more details on Facebook — if you can understand Italian.

Which producer from the following list would you say made the worst films? Also If Cinematic Titanic and/or Rifftrax were going to riff on all of the films of one producer, which would you pick?

FWIW I know MST3K riffed on all the films Coleman Francis produced but I thought I’d add him more for the first question than the second.
One last thing: I know I could’ve put Ed Wood and Ray Dennis Steckler on the list but I decided to leave them out and give the others a chance.
It was a tough decision for the final four, but I decided to go with a lesser known producer like Max Rosenberg (who was involved in the productions of “The Deadly Bees” and “The Incredible Melting Man”) over somebody worse like Rick Sloane or somebody more talented and famous like Dino De Laurentiis (of “Diabolik.”)
For question 1, I think Charles Band wins, or, rather, loses hands down.
For question 2, I think I’ll pick Samuel Sherman.
