Posted by Sampo, on July 2nd, 2022  Santa Monica, Calif. — Prolific character actor Joe Turkel, well known for his roles in “The Shining” and “Blade Runner,” died at a hospital here June 27. He was 94.
MSTies will remember that he played Nick in the movie in episode 414- TORMENTED and the sheriff in episode 523- VILLAGE OF THE GIANTS.

Posted by Sampo, on June 28th, 2022  TOKYO — prolific score composer Michiaki “Chumei” Watanabe died at a hospital here on June 23. He was 96.
Among the hundreds of scores he penned was the one for the movie in episode 819- INVASION OF THE NEPTUNE MEN.

Posted by Sampo, on June 26th, 2022  WIDBEY ISLAND, WASHINGTON–Grammy-nominated film pianist and composer Artie Kane, who helped create film scores including “Looking for Mr. Goodbar” and “Eyes of Laura Mars,” died at his home here on June 21. He was 93.
Kane was widely considered one of the finest keyboard players in the history of Hollywood. MSTies might recall his work for the movie in episode 1010- IT LIVES BY NIGHT.
