Michael Sloan, among whose TV creations was the 1984 TV series”The Master, which later became the movies in episodes 322- MASTER NINJA I and 324- MASTER NINJA II, died August 13. He was 78.
He was also the executive producer of the series.

Pescara, Abruzzo, Italy — Italian character actor Ferdinando “Nando” Angelini died here August 3. Besides his acting career, he worked as a documentarist and a television writer of educational programs. His acting career began in 1955, and he appeared in some 99 films. MSTies will remember his role as Ward Jones in the movie “Operation Kid Brother,” seen in episode 508- OPERATION DOUBLE 007. Thanks to Timmy for the heads up.  Los Angeles — Actress Loni Anderson died August 3 at a hospital here. She was 79.
While best known for her role as gorgeous-and-savvy receptionist Jennifer on the truly wonderful series “WKRP in Cincinnati,” MSTies will remember she also played Cathy in the movie in episode 1304- MUNCHIE. She was was mentioned in a host segments in episodes 514- TEENAGE STRANGLER and 1104- AVALANCHE. Thanks to Timmy for the heads up. |
