Rifftrax Returns to Sketchfest

RiffTrax Live is returning to the San Francisco’s Sketchfest January 17th at the Castro Theater. Mike, Kevin and Bill will be riffing Ed Wood’s immortal “Plan 9 From Outer Space.” Tickets are $25. See the site for more information.

And in other Rifftrax news, the next RiffTrax up is “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.” It’s due out Dec. 18 and will feature Mike, Kevin and Bill.

Reminders…

In our previous holiday shopping reminders, we forgot to mention that if you’re looking for MSTie art, be sure to visit Jean Jackson’s great “MST3K art” site. You’ll love this stuff.

And, while we’re on the subject please consider a visit our CafePress.com store.

When you get there, be sure to check out our “A Short 2008,” calendar which features 12 memorable moments from those weird and wonderful shorts. (It’s down at the bottom of the page.)

Alternately, our Amazon tip box is always an option.

As it says in our email boilerplate, Satellite News is a labor of love,
not supported financially by anybody except you. We thank you for your support.

SWHS Rifftrax Now Available

…and if you thought THAT was horrifying, there’s always the Star Wars Holiday Special. The only thing that could make it survivable is the Rifftrax commentary track, which is now available for download.

Holiday greetings from RiffTrax

The folks at Quick Stop Entertainment have posted an exclusive “Holiday Havoc” video greeting from Mike, Kevin and Bill over at RiffTrax. Take a look at http://www.quickstopentertainment.com/2007/12/11/holiday-havoc-rifftrax/

But be forewarned: You’ll have visions of things other than sugarplums dancing in your head after you see it!

“Thank You, Centron!”

Long, detailed piece about “mental hygiene” film maker Centron, with a mention at the end of the show that led to its re-examination.

Thanks to alert reader Jaime for the tip.
