And they’ve added some “legacy” tees to the merch lineup, including the popular “Space Mutiny names” tee.
Over at Rifftrax, they’ve announced something called “Rifftrax On Demand“–essentially downloadable versions of many of the DVDs Mike has done for Legend, including “Reefer Madness” “House on Haunted Hill,” “Night of the Living Dead”, etc. An interesting feature (to me at least): You have the option to purchase them, and own them forever, or rent them for 48 hours. Prices range from $2.99 to $12.99.
And don’t forget Satellite News merchandise, including our annual “shorts” calendar, featuring 12 classic moments from 12 classic short films that were riffed by MST3K!

Posted by Sampo, on December 6th, 2007 Looks like we missed it when it started about a week ago, but the Rifftrax Blog (which until now had been rarely updated) has been revamped and appears to have become a group blog: Mike posts frequently on whatever issue strikes him, Kevin posted, but so does Conor, one of the main honchos behind the scenes there.
We definitely appreciate the need for revamped blogs. :-)

Now, I know many of you are staring at your computers saying “But that’s not commercially available!”
There are ways of seeing it (though I have a feeling these things may disappear when Lucasfilm gets wind of this…)

Posted by Sampo, on December 4th, 2007 Satellite News has learned that Rhino WILL be offering episode 402- THE GIANT GILA MONSTER as a single disk, in addition to its inclusion in the re-released MST3K Collection Vol. 10. The disk will only be available for a limited time, but for those who purchased the original Vol. 10 before it was recalled, this will save you some hard-earned dough.
I presume the single-disk version will include the extras that were previously talked about (I doubt they would go to the trouble of mastering a separate release).
