Rifftrax for Transformers Now Available

As the site says:

The toys you got free in your happy meal explode across the screen as the loosening of FCC regulations on marketing directly to children is now a major motion picture! And the now grown-up targets of that marketing once again obeyed their overlords, turning Transformers into the loudest hit of the year! Shia LaBeouf (from the German meaning “diffident steak”) stars alongside Megan Fox, who certainly lives up to her name (she looks like a Megan)!

Optimus Prime (which the Feds just raised by a quarter point) battles the evil Decepticons led by the eviler Megatron for control of the Allspark, which is possibly the silliest thing ever conceived by man. It’s the most fun you’ll have watching toys, at least until Mr. Potato Head: The Motion Picture hits the theaters (Jack Black is in talks to star).

Mike, Kevin and Bill endure the lashings of Michael Bay in a must-have RiffTrax!

Get it here.

Turkey Day goodies from MST3K.com

The MST3K.com site has been updated! Not only have the new animated Thanksgiving skit from the ‘bots and the video montage of classic Comedy Central Turkey Day segments by longtime MST3K editor Brad Keely been posted, but the site also boasts some nifty new opening animation. Check it out!

But still no sign of the 1993 Turkey Day segments.

UPDATE: The nifty new opening animation featuring the SOL is gone, but the rest of the updates are back. See them before they disappear again.

Rifftrax Player Beta Available

Over at Rifftrax, everybody’s pal Disembaudio says: “If you’ve ever thought to yourself, ‘Heck, RiffTrax would be great if I didn’t have to exert the minimal effort required to synch up the MP3 with the movie,’ then the RiffTrax player is the solution you’ve been waiting for.”

Hey how about a Mac version!
