The Film Crew–Kevin Murphy, Bill Corbett and Mike Nelson–have released their new line of B-movie send-ups, under the Shout! Factory label. Four episodes have already been shot–Giant of Marathon (1959, starring Steve Reeves), Hollywood After Dark (1968, starring The Golden Girls’ Rue McClannahan), Killers from Space (1954, starring Peter Graves) and The Wild Women of Wongo (1958). DVD Talk reviews the next Film Crew DVD: The Honolulu Star-Bulletin did a piece on Rifftrax and the Film Crew: Rifftrax is running a new contest, called Rifftrax DIY, using the “cuts.com” platform Legend Films acquired a few months ago. They are calling on fans to create their own riffed videos. Find out more at: Mike Nelson did a live chat on the Washington Post web site on Friday, August 24.
