Frank Pesce, RIP

BURBANK, CALIF.–Frank Pesce, a colorful character actor whose dozens of credits range from “Beverly Hills Cop,” “Top Gun” and “Midnight Run” to “Miami Vice,” “Matlock” and “Kojak”, died here Feb. 6. He was 75.

John William Galt, RIP

Actor John William Galt, who appeared in such films as “JFK” and “Forest Gump” died Jan. 29.

He is perhaps best remembered as a voice actor, and contributed to video games including “Daikatana, Nocturne” and “Shadow Warrior.”

MSTies may remember that he had a small role as a NASA official in the movie in episode K19- HANGAR 18.

RIP Ron Kivett

SAINT AUGUSTINE, FLA.–Ron Kivett, screenwriter, technical director and monster costume designer for the movie “Zaat,” seen in episode 1005- BLOOD WATERS OF DR. Z., died here Jan. 23. He was 78.

“Ron Kivett was a true renaissance man, wrote his friend Ed Tucker on Facebook. “He was integral to the production of ZAAT, writing the script, designing the creature, handling the special effects and even touring with the film all over this country and beyond during its initial release.”
