 MEXICO CITY–Roger Cudney, A prolific actor in movies and Spanish-language telenovelas, died July 5 at a hospital here from complications following a serious car accident in May. He was 85.
His movie roles included “Total Recall,” “License to Kill,” “The Arrival” and “Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins.” MSTies will remember that he played Inaros in the movie in episode 703- DEATHSTALKER AND THE WARRIORS FROM HELL. Dumb Industries has announced its newest live stream series: The Mary Jo Pehl Show. The show will premiere on Twitch on Tuesday, August 24 at 8pm ET / 7pm CT, and is being billed as “a monthly comedy variety show hosted by none other than original Mystery Science Theater 3000 writer & cast member, Mary Jo Pehl!” The Mary Jo Pehl Show is free to all viewers, and no signup for Twitch is required. You can RSVP on Eventbrite so you get email reminders.  New York City — Jackie Mason, whose staccato, arm-waving delivery and thick Yiddish accent kept the borscht belt style of comedy alive long after the Catskills resorts had shut their doors, and whose career reached new heights in the 1980s with a series of one-man shows on Broadway, died at a hospital here July 24. He was 93.
He was also the inspiration for the “Jackie Mason jar,” an invention demonstrated in episode 320- THE UNEARTHLY. |
