I needed to watch the classic miniseries ROOTS to cleanse my palate and soul after watching this “movie”.
Oooo! Geordi LaForge was in Roots! Back before he started wearing half of an air filter to keep dirt out of his eyes. That is one trend that never really caught on I guess. American History is cool!
Geordi LaForge was also Ron LeFlore after establishing his Roots.
Ow. I thought I might actually enjoy this movie for the first 15 minutes or so, then the story comes to a screeching halt and they start using songs to pad it out. A LOT of songs.
just rented and watch sometime ago Roots from Netflix. for those who have not seen Roots, i highly recommended it.
ok i did make a few jokes while i watch it (nothing really bad). When OJ ran after Kunta Kinte, i said, run faster Kunta, your next on OJ’s list.
Wonder if they would riff Roots.
