I suspect that the story behind The Creeping Terror is scarier than the actual movie (which isn’t saying much).

Screw it. I bought a ticket for the double feature. I can’t imagine what it will be like seeing Creeping Terror un-riffed with a crowd of Horror (and probably MST3k) fans.

Just a quick note on Joel’s appearance at Tidewater Comicon. While he did sign autographs and do a Q&A, he did not perform “Riffing Myself.” While I’m hesitant to complain, the wife and I were somewhat disappointed that after driving over 4 hours to make it to the show, we found out that “Riffing Myself” was not on the program. Hopefully, we’ll be able to see it one day. But that day was not today at Tidewater Comicon!

Went to the Tidewater Comicon and had my Vol. 10 DVD set signed. When Joel had to take a break from autographs to grab a bite and get ready for the Q & A, he was considerate enough to personally tell each group in line what was up and that he’d be back after the panel. Whoever was in front of us, I didn’t get your name, but what a classy guy you are. He gave up his place in line so my friend and I could go ahead. Sure enough, we were the cut-off before the panel. It was fun talking about MST3K with you. I will say you could tell Joel just got off a red-eye. He, indeed, didn’t perform “Riffing Myself” and the Q & A got off to a bumpy start when a couple little kids were talking. I think he realized that he didn’t handle that situation as well as he could have and asked everyone to send the mother and her kids to his table if we happened to see them in order to make it right. I sure hope someone found her, and her son’s birthday wasn’t completely spoiled. I mean, the kids were indeed talking and it was distracting, and it’s on her to quiet or remove them. But a little understanding wouldn’t hurt. I honestly don’t think she knew what was going.
