It’s a different pace than the normal Rifftrax crew, but that’s part of the charm as Mary Jo and Bridget have their own chemistry. Oh, by the way, the fire is Mary Jo’s fault. :shock:

They were the only other MST3K alumni that ever appeared as guest riffers. Nice to see them back. The fact that they’re teaming up is even sweeter!

I thought I heard that Mike and Mary Jo have both moved back to the Minnesota area. That must be one reason why Mary Jo and Bridget are starting up a Rifftrax-ette show.
Did RiffTrax shut down its studio in California and open up a new one in Minnesota? I wasn’t clear how it operates now production-wise although I did read that Mike and crew bought out the company.
Very excited about this and the potential for more! Glitter & Next are two of my absolute favorite RIFFTRAX releases. Rifftrax already mentioned there were “2 more on the way” from Bridget & Mary Jo–I’m assuming shorts, but I’d love to see a VOD or mp3 studio riff as well!

@tvsfrank2: Where di you hear this: “I did read that Mike and crew bought out the company.” I’ve always been curious just how well Rifftrax is doing and if it’s doing that well, great for them!
I’m just going by what it says on Rifftrax’s wikipedia page. Hard to know how much stock you can put in that but it says Mike, Bill, Kevin and David G. Martin bought the operation in 2012. It sounds like a small company regardless.
it was great watching this…I love mary jo and loved that bridget is back riffing…I don’t think the ladies get enough get enough credit on their riff writing…I bough this within minutes of finding out about it on Facebook…Great job maryjo & bridget!!!
Yeah Rifftrax seperated from Legend Films years ago, and Mike and Mary Jo have also moved back east in the last year or so. You can google for interviews and check their facebooks. http://www.startribune.com/my-minnesota-mst3k-s-mike-nelson-is-back-in-town/254043771/
