RIP
Also, 2016 can stop it anytime now with the deaths.
RIP to Ken Howard. He was one of those solid, seemingly ubiquitous character actors who are always a pleasure to recognize. I remember him most recently in the new (2008) “Rambo” movie; he had a short but memorable role as a reverend who sought Rambo’s help in rescuing missionary hostages in Burma. He was also instrumental in forging the merger between SAG and AFTRA.
It should also be mentioned that “The White Shadow” was also the first major acting vehicle for Timothy Van Patten, early in his career.
He also played Thomas Jefferson in the film version of “1776” and in the original Broadway cast.
Some of us never knew him as anything else, and wondered why Jefferson was coaching basketball, like we wondered John Adams was a teacher and a doctor, and Ben Franklin narrated Doctor Who episodes. :)
2016 just got another one with Garry Shandling.
amazing he ties to mst3k I forget. I miss WS. wish they’d put that out so I can get it.
Did you also wonder why Captain Nice became our 2nd president?
I did.
Don’t forget David Hasselhoff’s car sounding like John Adams.
