Weekend Discussion Thread: How Did MSTed Characters Die?

Alert reader Troy writes:

How do you think various MSTied movie characters eventually met their demise?

For example, it’s pretty obvious that Remedy from Last of t! he Wild Horses blew himself up after taking a correspondence course on how to make homemade gelignite. The entire cast of Hobgoblins picked up a horrible venereal disease just from being in Hobgoblins, and Ken, of course, would later die in a tragic forklift accident.

I like to think Wanda from “Alien from L.A. lived a long and happy life, then fell into a sinkhole.

Your pick?

  1. Ro-man says:

Eddie (The Beatnicks), after a short-lived singing career, washed out and ended up tending bar at a local tavern. And sure, he put on a little weight over the years. Ironically, his end came when he was senselessly gunned down by an unbalanced hoodlum when a group of toughs came in for a little fun and it got just a little out of hand.

Ortega died from drinking a little too much of his own urine. Or someone else’s, the coronor wasn’t actually able to determine who’s urine it was.

  3. Professor Gunther says:

Professor Gunther choked to death on his Jell-O, which was given to him by Professor Ned Jackson (as a means of getting him to shut up while he was trying to figure out the identify of the incredibly huge, big-like thing wreaking havoc in the frozen north).

Professor Jackson was found dead in the enlisted quarters after trying to retrieve Marge’s toothbrush. Corporal Donny Most is currently serving a life sentence for first-degree murder (since it turned out the murder wasn’t as smooth as silk).

The Deadly Mantis in fact faked his death, and then went on to have a terrifically successful career on Broadway.

Col. Joe Parkman died after doing that chilling thing with his jaw one too many times while unsuccessfully attempting to make out with Marge. It turned out he had tetanus.

Having failed to conquer the Earth by replacing humans with androids, Kolos returned to the Galaxy Beings. He was dismantled for spare parts, and his ceramic head was turned into a cookie jar.

Tom Nelson from EEGAH! was killed by a rattler’s bite. He didn’t watch out for snakes.

I like to think that “The Master” rose to the challenge of sudden fatherhood and home schooled Debbie into a Westinghouse scholarship in Necronomiconic science.

Trash, from “Escape 2000”, was actually a neat freak and germophobe when he wasn’t battling the Disinfestors. He died as a result of inhaling too much of the disinfectant that he constantly sprayed on every surface.

Toblerone came to a horrific end when someone mistook him for an actual Toblerone.
