He’s accepted rather well into his life of being a half-blind social freak and shunned outcast, and I’m sure the RT orders will help supplement his street-corner pencil income.
Junior Prom is pretty funny, particularly if you like seeing a different genre of B movie from time to time. Poor Lois Lane was in at least 8 of these proto-High School Musicals. Enjoy, won’t we?

Glasses For Susan –
Years ago I took my niece to get her first pair of glasses. On the way home she marveled at being able to see the individual leaves on the trees. She was an honor student and avid reader, too. How she did it is a bit of a mystery.
If that were the case, he wouldn’t be able to bombard us with his neural flatulence, more’s the pity.
I was making a reference to the obscure “stop her, she stole Mike’s keyboard” riff referenced in the ACEG, but your interpretation works just as well :)
(Y’know, usually I’m posting after everyone’s already seen the clip and/or knows the riffs…
If no one was interested enough to look them up, I can sympathize.)
For someone who hates Riff Trax so much he sure does follow the guys and their website. I honestly hope he is never in the same state as them.

Junior Prom –
That prom was so long ago that some of the styles have come back. No, they didn’t. My prom was a sea of powder blue rented tuxes and ruffled shirts. My date wore a pastel dress made by her mom which was cool because half of the other ladies had the same thing. The band was lame (white guys with afros), the decorations were lame (“Aim For The Stars”). I was a perfect (cue clueless) gentleman so I guess I was lame, too. Ah, memories.

Susan putting on her glasses for the first time and looking at everything with wonder and amazement reminds me of myself when I was 10. I kept taking off my glasses and putting them back on, it was like They Live without the Orwellian doom.
Decades ago, I was that little girl. I was shocked to see all the individual leaves on trees. My mother told me later that she felt bad they waited so long to get glasses for me, but my parents didn’t know until my teacher told them I was having trouble seeing the blackboard. I thought what I saw was just normal. Kids. But now…. ELTON JOHN!!
Mark Mothersbaugh said that it was only after he got glasses that he found out that trees had parts other than those he kept running into.
I guess he was just a spud boy, looking for that real tomato.

Apropos of nothing whatsoever… I just realized this:
In the Marvel Universe, we have Thanos. He’s a pretty bad guy.
Jim Starlin is the artist that created Thanos.
He originally wanted to name him after the Greek word for the personification of death. He decided to shorten it to Thanos from the original name: Thanatos.
Thanatos is the name of the evil organization in “Operation Double 007”.
That’s right – MST did it first. Eat it, Marvel!!
