  1. One sip for every “I’ll steal your immortal soul” riff Kevin makes in any fantasy involving elves, fairies, or coily spring-sprites.

    Awesome, a drinking game!

It’s not hard to do with Rifftrax:
One sip for any “Resemblance to a celebrity”
One sip for any blame placed directly on the director by name
Two sips for any mention of “Childhood trauma/nightmare fuel”
Open snickers or giggles? Full gulp.

(…Take it from someone who knows “Repetitive and predictable”.) ;)

To avoid letting Eric J. make this thread go to the dogs, here are photos of Bill, Kevin, and Mary Jo’s dogs. :-)

Strangely enough, I can’t find any pictures of Humphrey on line — but he was a good dog!

If EricJ hates Rifftrax so much, why does he not ignore the news posts about them? Also, why does the admin team continue to let him ruin comment threads?

I love when Rifftrax covers holiday stuff, and see these stories wanting to leave a comment and become more of a member of a community. But when I click on it, inevitably the first comment is from EricJ. It’s always negative, and then he continues to leave comments belittling Mike, Kevin, Bill, Bridget and Mary Jo. Never discussing the short after actually watching it. He really is hurting the site’s community and needs to go.

    Mr. Krasker:

Did you know that Humphrey lived to be 16?

According to Kevin, Humphrey was discovered at one year old tied up in someone’s basement.

Vida is also a rescue. Kevin and his wife Jane saved her from a disreputable breeder with the help of a dog agency.

    You are most welcome here.

Ignore Eric J. or download a blocking app that will filter out his rants.

This board is fun and provides me with relief from the crazy internet.

Some creep is verbally assaulting people on an ew.com article about “Sesame Street” today.

I hope you decide to stay here. :-)

You’re selling Eric short. He also belittles the fans.

I think it’s a little unfair to accuse RT of being stale when MST3K has at least 2 or 3 jokes they make in every episode

I love shorts and weird Christmas things and RT, so I may have to check this out (I can’t keep up with all the RT releases, so I just select the ones I think look interesting).

I will say that I prefer the live videos. I just like the energy of those (which is weird, because I initially lamented the switch CT made from studio riffs to nothing but live DVDs, but now I’ve flipped).

But he has his own page on IMDb, which I think is awesome. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2288686/ I loved how, in The MST3K Amazing Colossal Episode Guide, each cast member had his/her picture taken with Humphrey. And speaking of TMST3KACEG, damn, it’s gotten expensive. Glad I bought my copy back way back when. And still speaking of TMST3KACEG, it would make a great gift for the MSTie who doesn’t have it, because while it’s incomplete as far as all the seasons go, it’s great reading.

And to make this on topic re: the Rifftrax short, I really hate bad claymation and can barely watch it, so I won’t be buying this one. But I still love Rifftrax, Mike, Kevin, Bill, Bridget, & Mary Jo.

Yeah back in the Joel days, every joke was used one single time and never heard again. I sure could have used more of:
    Chief? McCloud!
    Sessions Presents!
    Sleeeep!
By this time my lungs were aching for air!
    I’m huge!
    Go to bed old man!
    Gymkata!
    Spohhhhck!!
    I’m Cherokee Jack..
    Huzzah!
Trumpy! You can do (blank) things!
    Watch out for snakes!
He tried to kill me with a forklift..
    Packers!
    He tampered in God’s domain.
And the crowd goes wild. Yay.
    Puma!
    Shut up Iris!
    You die Joe!
    Jimmy Smits.
    Richard Basehart.
    Hi-keeba!
    I’m a Grimwald Warrior!
    Chili peppers burn my gut!
    Welcome to Death Valley Days!
    I regret nothing!
    Kitty!
He’ll never touch you Terri – you’re dirt!
    It Stinks!
    Jim Henson’s (blank) babies..
    J-eeeeed!
    and of course – Waffles.

So your argument, once again, is flawed on it’s face.

Eric.. you were doing good there. Keep working on the 12 step to not being a troll.

    Improve your account.

But what an exception Wallace and Gromit are!

Here’s a scene from the Oscar winning short “The Wrong Trousers.”

This scene has been called one of the best chase sequences in film history.

I love claymation, W&G, Gumby, stop motion like Davey & Galliath (i’m agnostic, but love the happy feelings hee hee). I actually enjoyed the short itself more than the fellas commentaries. I wish they would include the original soundtrack on these for when that’s the case. They don’t always get me howling… mostly do but not always. I love old educational shorts for nostalgia too.

Anyway, I just order over $30 worth of stuff in their recent sale. I hope they can get it to me by Christmas. It seems to be stuck in pending. I want to watch everything for xmas on my 65″ not my 24″.
