What is that thing? A koala bear? A gingerbread man gone horribly wrong? Mr. Bill without his make-up? The cousin Gumby doesn’t talk about?

  2. Kenneth Morgan says:

I breathed a sigh of relief that it wasn’t 1967 movie “The Power”, a pretty cool thriller from George Pal, starring a pre-tan George Hamilton and Suzanne Pleshette.

Mr. Hand is going help you get a nice suntan, Mr. Bill.

  9. Sitting Duck says:

Did my usual research at IMDB to see if anyone involved had worked on MST3K films. One of the producers was Dick Clark. At first, I thought it was probably some other Dick Clark, since both names are fairly common. But apparently it is indeed THAT Dick Clark.

    Sitting Duck:

Dick Clark is uncredited, though, so don’t expect any riffs on his involvement.

Here’s a review of the film.

It’s an idol of the (evidently made-up) Aztec god Destacatyl. Something you could very easily have found out by yourself, I might add…
