Jay Benedict RIPNote: This is our first Covid-19 passing.
Fans of the Alien/Aliens movie franchise will remember him as Russ Jordan, the father of Newt and the first victim of the Alien infestation. Just read that actor James Drury died (“The Virginian”). I remember MST3K or Rifftrax doing a riff about a tough, barrel chested hero needing to “go for his James Drury lessons” , but I can’t remember which movie….any recollections? R.I.P.
He was also the dub voice of Rocky in the “Fugitive Alien” compilation films.

If he did, it’s not listed in his IMDB profile or that of the film. Though admittedly the documentation in the latter is somewhat incomplete.
That’s no more tenuous than Ricardo Montalbán doing the voice of Claudius in Hamlet.
