Even at under $5 a disc, that’s an awful lot of money to be spending on toilet paper.
Around this time of year Deep Discount often has a 20-25% off sale on all items. There’s no set date for it though, and you usually only find out a few days before it happens.
There’s also no guarantee that they won’t raise the price on discs before the sale, but if this price holds until it eventually happens, that would be sweet.

That’s a great price for 10 discs, very tempting. Of course, we’ve already kind of spent the money on tickets and hotel to go up to Philly next weekend for the two CT shows, but I may buy this set soon if the great price holds for a while in spite of the fact that I already own the “Mike-only” versions of some of these as well as the Mike, Kevin, Bill Three Stooges too.
I love RiffTrax but HATE having to find the correct edition of the movie and keep it in sync. Does anyone know if these DVDs are complete, or do I still have to find/sync the original movie too?

The DVDs already have the movies on them, along with an unriffed version of the movie. All you have to do is select to play the movie with the commentary and you’re all set. No synching required.
I’ve definitely got these on my buy list…though there’s a part of me that feels slightly ripped off, in that I already own the “Solo Mike” versions of most of these movies.
#9: These all come with the riffs built in. No manual synchronizing required.

Individually, I had little interest in these, except maybe the shorts. But it’s hard for me to resist a good deal… Are they any good? Say, on a scale where “Hamlet” is 0 and “Space Mutiny” is 10…

Reefer Madness – 7
Little Shop of Horrors – 4
House on Haunted Hill – 5
Night of Living Dead – 8
Missile to the Moon – 7
Carnival of Souls – 7 and a half
Swing Parade – 6
The two shorts discs are the highlights, along with Plan 9. These were all fun but overall I didn’t think these Legend do-over trax were as strong as the majority of Rifftrax they’ve done on more current films.
I just ordered mine! I’ll echo what #14 said, but I’ll thank the right person for posting it. Thanks Erhardt! :grin:

Damn that’s a pretty sweet price.
If only I hadn’t spent $35 (with shipping) on ordering three of those DVDs three weeks ago… So I’d really only be getting seven of them for the sale price (and some spares I’d probably wind up giving away to friends), which is still a good deal, but money’s kind of tight right now and spending a total of $82 on Rifftrax DVD’s in one month would make me feel a whole heap of guilt and self loathing, especially when I’m walking around the grocery store trying to make my money stretch as far as possible. So sadly I think I’ll have to pass on this unless I fall into some extra cash before the sale ends. I guess I’ll just have to gradually pick the rest of them up over the next year or so (which is what I was planning on doing anyway.
