  1. Kenneth Morgan says:

This past Tuesday, during the Q&A after the “Mads are Back LIVE” show, Bridget mentioned this was on the way. She also said she & Mary Jo would do more Mary Higgins Clark titles.

    From Variety.com:

“The movie marks a curious comeback, a hyper-stylized hit-man story of the sort that became so ubiquitous in the wake of ‘Pulp Fiction’— hardly the thing one expects from such an influential auteur. Where Avary’s other films have innovated and unsettled, this one’s clever but safe, apart from an over-the-top performance from Crispin Glover, who — speakeeng een a French aksuhnt that sounds like a cross between Jean Reno and Pepé Le Pew — achieves heights of eccentricity that feel extreme even by the cult character actor’s own idiosyncratic standards.”

    My mistake.

My dad is a big fan of Mary Higgins Clark.

Thanks to your link, I see she has an acting cameo in this film.

As Amanda Donohoe movies go, I like this one better:

    Probably better riffing material too.

With that image/cover, it looks like it should be called “Lucky Stiff,” but “Lucky Stiff” and “Lucky Stiff” and “The Lucky Stiff” were entirely different kinds of movies.
