RIP Bob Herron

Stuntman Bob Herron, who did stunts for on films such as “Diamonds Are Forever,” “L.A. Confidential” and “Batman Forever” died Oct. 10. He was 97.

MSTies may be aware that he wore monster suits in the movies in episodes 803- THE MOLE PEOPLE and 108- THE SLIME PEOPLE (he also did stunts in the latter film).

Thanks to Gordon for the heads up.

I always appreciate seeing the person inside the suits. I’m sorry to hear he died of complications from a fall, poor man…my main takeaway is that it sucks to get old. Hope he had a life as happy as it was long.

I suspect most stuntmen don’t get to have 97th birthday parties, so I echo DarkGrandmaofDeath’s hope. RIP

Consider also that his last stunt credit was just ten years ago, when he served as a stunt double for Ernest Borgnine.

From his MST3K credits, you might say he is a People person.
