Loved the Alien Factor DVD. I’ll get either this or East Meets Watts as my next CT Live purchase.

Downloading now from EZTakes. And it’s even got CT’s first bonus feature: a mini-doc called “Between the Riffs,” about 18 minutes long.

The TITANS have their pictures in the August issue of MAD MAGAZINE. They visited the Mad offices while in NY. Check it out if you get the chance. (Trace in mid-barf is hilarious!)

Having seen them do it live, I really hope their next release is War of the Insects. Man, that was a hysterically funny one. Samson and the Seven Miracles of the World was, too, but I think War just edges it out.

Just ordered today! I really hope they’ll continue to issue more DVDs of their live shows as I find them much funnier than their earlier in-studio DVDs. Only Doomsday Machine and Wasp Woman of the studio DVDs are in my opinion match the caliber of Easts meets Watts and Alien Factor. From what I’ve seen of the trailer for this one it’s gonna be another hilarious hit.

Saw this live in N. Hampton and was psyched to hear it was coming out live on DVD. Looking forward to it (and it’s docu, as I want to see how they DIY) and the other 2 I bought. So w/ the Alien Factor I bought when I saw them live, and Watts & Doomsday, I am up to 4. I am in guys, I’m in.

Just got my order in last night. They seem be hitting 50/50 on these live takes so far (at least in my opinion), so I hope this one improves that record.

I ordered this new DVD last night just a couple minutes after midnight. It was already shipped today. Looking forward to it as we haven’t seen this one since the live show in Philly last summer.

I just finished watching the movie and the mini-doc. The movie had a couple of spots where it dragged a bit, but they didn’t last too long. A lot of great riffs, and the ending in particular is an explosion of unintentional goofiness. “Between the Riffs” was fun, but since it was filmed at our very own Woodruff Arts Center, it made me feel even worse for not having gone to that show.

Wow. I bought the download today, and found that EZTakes now also lets you download an MP4 file, which is much faster to download than the DVD. I also installed the EZTakes Android app (search the Android Market for “EZTakes”) to watch it on my cell phone!! That’s a big improvement, and a great reason to download. ;-)

I watched it last night. It was pretty funny, but not as quite as good as East Meets Watts or Alien Factor. This only issue is had was that parts of the movie was so loud that you couldn’t hear the audience response to the jokes. It kinda nulified the whole interactive experience. That said, I really enjoy these CT releases – Live or Studio. The CT Team is firing on all cylinders and producing really good work these days. Keep ’em coming!

To #20: I haven’t received my dvd yet, but I once saw this one live. Ironically, at that particular venue the sound was so low you couldn’t hear most of the movie. I was actually thinking, at a few points, “I hope I’ll be able to hear that better when they do it for dvd…”

I just watched it last night and agree with #20, it was good but not as good as East Meets Watts or Alien Factor. I thought they were trying to do too many jokes sometimes.

Just finished watching “Danger on Tiki Island” (AKA “Brides of Blood” on Netflix) and I have to agree with Michael Rubino’s review.

The only exception I had with his review is that I feel this IS the best show Cinematic Titanic has yet done. (East Meets Watts a close second)

I like the live shows better than the studio ones. The films that Cinematic Titanic are forced to work with have not been very good, and the studio episodes only re-enforce that. While the cast is talented, they can only do so much. The audience, also know at the “tenth man factor,” adds enough energy to overcome even these dark bad movies.

My only complaint is the profanity. I understand that these shows are for an older, more “grown-up” audience, but I have never equated “sh*t” with “maturity.” Used occasionally it does add to the humor of the situation. When you start noticing how often they say it, it detracts from event. After a while it starts to sound forced. Like they have to swear to keep “IN” with the “Cool Kids.” In this live show they must have been trying real hard to be “hip & cool.”

It was the only down part of an otherwise great effort.
