“Doomsday” Is Here!

Cinematic Titanic’s second episode, “Doomsday Machine,” is now on sale! Visit their new store HERE to pick up your DVD for $14.99 (plus shipping and handling) or download it for $9.99. By the way, the DVD will be shipped in a shrink-wrapped DVD box (which should up the packaging grumblers).
In other CT news, this weekend’s show at L.A.’s Ford Ampitheater is sold out.

  4. Got mine either today or yesterday (I was out of town), with what appears to be a lovely autographed thank-you note from Trace. (Thanks to my comic book order, that makes five Trace autographs for me so far.)

The DVD case art may not be terribly eye-catching (too muted for my tastes), but it all looks very professional (cause it is) and miles ahead of the disc-in-an-envelope of the first release.

And the episode itself it decent. Perhaps a bit below “Oozing Skull” overall, but made up for by a great new opening sequence (helping get the backstory for CT out) and a cool DVD menu.

Now if they could start adding a few extras like the online trailers, things would really be looking superb!

All in all a great product and more than justifies the higher price tag for the full package.

Mine didn’t come with an autographed thank you note
The last 15 minutes or so are just deadly, but up till then it was a pretty good show, if not quite as good as “Oozing Skull.”
Now if only the DVD was, um, DVD-quality, rather than download-quality, everything would be perfect

Hey, I got a Trace autograph too!
    Thats a cool bonus.

I havent watched yet. I’m weird about watching stuff once I get it. I actually still havent watched 3 of the 4 film crew dvds.
If I watch this second CT offering, I’ll have watched more CT that TFC.

I like to wait until I’m so bored out of my skull that there is absolutely nothing left to do—-and i have to have all the best snacks (and good “a certain unmentionable”) available and be in perfect comfort. Yeah, I’m a weirdo and I dont care.
A nice weirdo though, not a scary or harmful one. There are many levels of ‘weirdo’.

There is a major flaw with the construct of Cinematic Titanic: with MST3K and The Film Crew there was a REASON why the bad movies were being shown and mocked. The crew of SOL were forced to watch them and with The Film Crew it was their job. There is no such rationale for the CT group to have to watch such trash. Therefore, their comments come across as smug and condescending. In other words, if the movies are so bad, then why not just walk away?
