    Oh hey, IT IS Guy On A Buffalo! I was curious about that when I first heard about this title. Just not enough to look it up of course. Should be pretty funny by the looks of the sample.

    Has there been any official word regarding when (or if) the VOD titles will be released on DVD?

    Is anybody else having an issue with the audio on RiffTrax’s sample clips lately? I’ve been getting an issue where all dialogue will play twice, with the new dialogue overlapping the repeat of the previously spoken dialogue. It’s very off putting…

    The sample clips work for me like 50% of the time. Half the time it will just list some error code like ‘not found’ or something weird. I use firefox with the latest updates so I doubt if that has anything to do with it.
    They worked all the time for me previous to this year. I don’t know what happened that changed it, but I don’t think the problem is on my end.

    @3:

    I hope they’ll become available. I can download the audio commentaries with no trouble, but my computer isn’t up to handing VOD items.

    Kenneth, then you should try Video-Lan http://www.videolan.org/ it should play any video format. The VOD isn’t even HD, try it.

    Just watched this tonight with friends. A solid riffing performance on a movie that actually seems surprisingly coherent, yet is rife with “WTF?” moments and a deeply disturbing amount of animal cruelty. Not at all what I expected, but I’m happy about my purchase.

    Finally downloaded this after my stupid credit card company wanted me to verify some charges that I did make thank you! Idiots. I’ll watch this one before Mythbusters tonight.

    One more thing to say to Kenneth, the film does come with an .ISO file when you purchase it online (Rifftrax has begun to include these files with their feature legnth VOD titles, starting with The Sons of Hercules). So you may want to download that and burn it onto a DVD (I plan to do that with this film and The Sons of Hercules sometime soon so that way I can watch the film on my Blu-Ray Player and also give this as a gift to my older brother).

    To those asking for DVDs: have any of you considered buying an external hard drive? They’re really not that expensive. I have one that’s 1 TB and it can handle the Rifftrax VODs just fine. My regular computer hard drive would get filled up pretty fast if I didn’t have it.

    Just a thought.

    This is one bizarre piece of poo.

    Boldly sold as “Family Entertainment” in the credits, it’s just one scene after another of animal cruelty; to add to the surreality, it’s overlain with a jolly narrator who think’s he’s accompanying a Disney nature special.

    Mike, Bill & Kevin do a fine job, as usual. But where does Rifftrax FIND these things??

    As far as the technicals go, we really prefer to watch all this stuff on our TV, so we download the ISOs and burn DVDs. For the shorts, we download the mpegs and burn every dozen or so as data DVDs (our cheap Phillips DVD player will happily play these). Not difficult and most pre-loaded PCs come with burner programs these days.

    To those who suggested for us to get an external hard drive,I would like the choice of choosing either dvd or vod and not just one.Makes it simpler for everyone involved…That aside,this one is funny.Going by the clip alone..

  19. You essentially do have the option between DVD and VOD, as when you purchase it you get an ISO file specifically included for burning a DVD. I’m not saying that this won’t eventually be released as a retail disc, but for anyone jonesin’ for it – there’s your best bet in the mean time.
