    Since I’m watching this in the next few days I’m going to skip the preview. I don’t want a single action-packed moment to be spoiled before the riff! (but I feel gushy inside just thinking about that wedding)

    Kudos to Rifftrax for making me face up to movies I’d normally avoid like the plague. This will be yet another one.

    oh lord, this, and I’m still reeling from the Rise of the Planet of the Apes. I know I can keep strength as long as I remind myself it’s not a Transformers movie.

  8. Just watched it. Pretty great. They even riff the end credits in gay Italian vampire voices. There’s also a Werewolf callback about wolves sleeping “nose to anus.”

    Ok, this is my first Twilight movie. Can someone explain how all the werewolves manage to shred their clothes when they transform and then appear completely dressed and starched when they turn back?

    A great and highly recommended Rifftrax, btw. I don’t think I would have made it through without it.

    @snowdog

    I’ve watched all three of the preceding Twilights and I can tell you…I haven’t the faintest clue. I guess they keep them tucked away in the woods or something. They might have shown that but with rifftrax I’m always to busy laughing to notice such things. And you might want to watch those other Twilights, they are all really good.

    @10 – It’s a combination of pressure from the ratings board and Teen People. Keep it clean and keep it pretty.

  16. As usual, this is the ONLY way I’ll ever see these $%@#$ things! (Well, I do have to admit my wife dragged me to one of them — was it the fifth or sixth? I have no idea – the only thing I remember about it was the lead girl staring out her window through three years worth of seasons, all of which lasted for several hours of screen time. I honestly thought for a moment I was watching an old Andy Warhol film).

    As a rule I don’t want RT to do anything current, but these things are the exception that proves the “it takes time for cheese to develop” rule (they come out stinkier and smellier than even the worst blue cheese, ripe for the riffing).

    A pretty strong riff but not quite up to the other Twilights. There were too many crude/fart type jokes, some of them funny, most not. They did a good job with the last twenty minutes though. Hilarious.
