The more I read about Mary Jo, the more nice and warm she appears to be. I lament the fact I have yet to meet her or she her perform in person. She comes off as one classy lady. ;)
@Big61al: I met her (and the rest of the Titans) briefly after a CT show; she was just as you describe her.
When I met her I talked about the Michael Jackson joke from the Samson movie (I forgot the exact title), and said that even though a lot of people booed at it, I thought it was funny. She commented, “There was a lot of that going on”, referring to the booing.
I met her at a show in Michigan. I told her I was glad she was riffing more as she was hilarious, and how much I enjoyed Quest of the Delta Knights and the X Files Rifftrax. She thanked me, sincerely. Been a fan of her for years.
I love Mary Jo!! My wife knows that she is the “other woman” in my life!! I’m obviously being very tongue-in-cheek, but seriously I’m a huge fan and loved the interview. I’m very happy to hear that Mary Jo and her hubby are enjoying Austin, and I wish them all the best!
