Can’t wait. I feel I will be moved, or at least I’ll have a bowl movement after viewing this film. Remember when they would hand out vomit bags at the drive-in because the movie was going to be so scary? Well I think RiffTrax/ CT should have vomit bags at shows and with DVDS as a collectable.
In this case Toilet paper, or a B.Y.O.T.P. before you leave for the show.
Sadly, that video is going to be the most I’ll be seeing of the live show next week. Still don’t have a job and therefore can’t afford to attend.
RE: the Gazette article. I’m officially calling for a three-riffer live version of Road House.
Was that a Mike Bobble head on the table?
Dangit, I have to teach a class, I’m going to miss this!! :(
Or I’ll hear a mountain lion….listen, it was very nice meeting you!
Mountain lions don’t roar. They make a kind of hissing sound, is all.
How am I supposed to believe the rest of the movie if it doesn’t even get that right????????????????????????????
Read the interview with Mike: would so love to see Roadhouse riffed live. Do it, guys!
I’m really enjoying these around-the-table kaffeeklatches. There was one as an intro to Guy From Harlem and now this.
I hope intros like this become a standard feature on the VODs. It’s always fun to actually see the guys interact.
Gummo: In addition to the short intro on the “Guy From Harlem” VOD itself, there’s also a full 15 minute discussion for that one and a 9 minute one for “Future Force/Zone” (plus a few other shorter ones). Search “Talkin’ Rifftrax” on youtube.
RE: the Gazette article. I’m officially calling for a three-riffer live version of Road House.
HELL YES.
#10 Sounds like you’re saying “It’s my way or the highway! ” HURTS DON’T IT?
But… pain don’t hurt? I heard that once.
Underpants…which only you can judge…
This video cracked me up.
When they’re like 80, I’d be happy to just see them doing these 10 minute round tables. Reminiscing about MST3K eps or RT…
The Westworld article is really making me anticipate the shorts they’re going to show. It might be too soon to get another “At Your Fingertips” installment, but I can only hope.
This may be the first rifftrax live show that I have to miss. Damn.
Does anyone know if this will be released on DVD?
I’ll be in Topeka tonite!!
Cinemark Tinseltown 16 at Rochester, NY! Plus Cinemark is doing a weekly Classic Movie series – so I’m gonna go early and see the Disney 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea at 2. Then walk to the local Quaker Steak and get my wing on with a MST3K-loving buddy who has refused to see any RT Birdemic clips online. He has no idea what he’s in for.
Does anyone know if this will be released on DVD?
Considering their track record on releasing live shows and the fact that Severin Films (the guys who put out Birdemic on disc) fell over themselves to promote the RT commentary, I’d say it’s pretty damn likely.
Now, it won’t be on DVD anytime soon… but sometime before Halloween 2013 is my guess (and Manos coming in the spring or summertime before that).
I’m going. I’m so mad, I missed “Manos”. I wasn’t feeling well and I didn’t want to cough through the whole movie and bug people, or worse, get other people sick, so I didn’t go. And I really wanted to see how they did it differently. :( But, I’m definitely going to see this one. :)
Less than two hours to go!
I’m so excited that Greenville, SC is among the locations showing Birdemic. This will be my first time going to an event like this and thrilled to be surrounded by folks that get the value of “the riff”
