See, now that’s nice! Even though it’s as far away from me as you can get without leaving the US of A, it’s great for MiSTies is Maine! Can’t go, but, you know, it’s all good. Smiles all around, then.

Anybody else picturing Savvy sharpening a cartoonishly large meat cleaver?

I missed seeing Bill at this con last year since i now live in Oklahoma but i go back to Maine once a year during the summer. This is really cool to here and i’m trying to see if i can pull off a quick jaunt up there in Nov to see the mst3k crew.

*pulls the trusty old atlas off the bookshelf* Hmm, Maine isn’t so far from NY… *consults Google Maps* Five hour drive each way?! Perhaps it’s time to retire the trusty old atlas. I did see Lemuria listed in the gazateer, after all.

SWEEET!!! I could care less about the actual convention… but any chance to meet Mary Jo, Bill and Kevin in person somewhere relatively close to where I liveis SO going to be worth it!!! :D

Already ordered my tickets for the weekend – it’s a birthday present for my brother. Even sweeter it’s the Patriots bye week so I won’t have to hear about him missing a game!

I live about 2 1/2 hours away but I’m not a big fan of comic book nerds.
What would getting Kevin and Bill to sign my 20th Anniversary tin and my MST Lunch Box and my GAMERA tin involve?
I already have Mary Jo’s autograph on these items and hope to get Mike to sign them someday.
Also I’m a bit of a goof with finding how much and how to buy tickets for this.
I didn’t mean to put down people who are comic fans I just have no interest in anything or anyone else on the program.
And would I have to hang around both days to meet Bill, Kevin, and Mary Jo?
So many questions so little time.

That would be great if she did another RiffTrax.

Creeping-Death: I second that. It would be great to hear Mary Jo on another Rifftrax or even as a guest on one of the live shows. She makes me laugh.:)

Gotta agree with Captn Ross Hagen @8. I’ve really got no use for comic book nerds, or comic books (Sorry, but, it is what it is. And it is balloon!). Not interested in the convention itself (Agreeing with Travis H @6), but I would go if Mary Jo, Bill, and Kevin are gonna be there. Well, maybe if I even lived remotely close to the location…).

Yay! Now I’ve met all of the major MST3k cast members except for Michael J. Nelson! What a snob! :-P

PS. This being Maine, the convention isn’t all that crowded. So those of you with multijeffalbertsonphobia needn’t have worried. Also, they’re all three here today, and I don’t know about MJP, but Bill and Kevin are doing a session tomorrow as well.

They did an absolutely great session this afternoon. Really loved Bill when he singled out the guy who looked like Torgo! Going back tomorrow for the Rifftrax panel with Bill and Kevin.

Really bummed I couldn’t make it to this (South Portland is only an hour or so away from where I live!), especially after the 3-Cinematic Titanic shows last weekened. Damn work and lack of money!! Hopefully there will be another chance to meet Kevin/Bill down the road…

Can anyone post pictures from this that got to meet them?

The Rifftrax panel was great – they showed a Best of 2012 (with lots of “Twilight” riffing included) and the short “Paper and I”. The room was in hysterics with that one! If there is a way to attach pictures I will do it – maybe I’ll e-mail them to our hosts. I used a (gasp) film camera because the one on my flip phone didn’t have a flash. As soon as I get them back I will get them posted somehow.

both the mst3k panel and the rifftrax panel were great, Out of all the events at C4 the biggest turn was both of these panels. The only bigger event that I saw was the costume contest.
did anyone go to the Nerd Rave at Empire friday before the convention? I showed up late and missed Mary Jo’s act.

I hope they all come back next year and drag Mike along with them.
