(Thanks to “Bookworm” for the heads up.) My local NPR affiliate doesn’t run it, so I was unaware of this show called “Ask Me Another” until today. I’ve seen it being taped, and no, it’s not live – they do it weeks in advance. It’s a great show, though.
In the NYC area, the program is aired over WNYC on Saturdays. It’s on the AM channel (820AM) at 12N, and on the FM channel (93.9FM) at 3PM.
I love “Ask Me Another” and I’ll be very excited to hear their segment.
You’re a Philly boy, right Sampo? Cause I am too, and I was very upset when they stopped running this. AND they stopped airing it only to air a repeat of “Wait Wait, Don’t Tell Me”.
Assuming my friends (for whom I’m house and dog-sitting) get back on time, I don’t collapse once I get my stuff back home, and it isn’t sold out, I’ll be there!
I was there! Great fun had by all, I would say. If you follow Bill Corbett on Twitter, then you know what happened in the game between him and Kevin. *chuckle*
The show will be broadcast the weekend of October 25th. The podcast is generally posted Friday afternoons. I’ll have to listen to it just so I can hear the comments I missed due to all the applause!
Rutgers is playing this Saturday starting at noon, so I’ll have to listen via the website.
Oh, by the way, has anyone from MST3K ever appeared on “Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me”?
Bill has mentioned the show a few times, so you’d think he or one of the Rifftrax guys (or even Joel) would have been on Wait, Wait by now.
