  1. David J says:

Since the VOD format has become so much more popular than having an MP3 to play along with a movie, it makes perfect sense to have an animated intro at the beginning.

I shudder at the thought of them being bought out by Fox.

The X96 interview didn’t seem too interesting, though I didn’t expect an interview so close to where I live. That other one was a bit more informative at least.

And since it looks like you guys haven’t mentioned it, the Vol. XXXI “Turkey Day Collection” is up for pre-order, and it’s even coming in a tin plus other goodies!

I just read these spam messages aloud to myself, and it sounded exactly like dialogue from a Jerry Warren film.

It sort of feels too challenging and intensely large in my situation.

Man, how often have I heard that. Hey-o!

Somehow, I feel there is a Weekend Discussion Thread to be found in this spam. Sentences spoken by MST characters that make NO SENSE whatsoever??

  15. jaybird3rd says:

@#14: I agree; lots of potential there for a weekend discussion topic. Here’s the first “sentence that makes no sense” that comes to mind: in “Fire Maidens of Outer Space”, regarding the possibility of life on the 13th moon of Jupiter, the Anthony Dexter character says “It’s probable, but highly doubtful.” Huh???

You say “unnamed interviewer” for the Nerdist.com interview. It fairly clearly says at the top of the post who interviewed them. It was Kyle Anderson. Mike even refers to him by name in the interview.

I get to attend the live event at the Belcourt! Finally!

Does anyone know if RT does the meet and greet like CT did? Hoping to cross these guys off my “shake their hands and say thanks” bucket list!
