Radio Interviews

We’re a little late getting to these (holiday season, sorry) but:

Frank and Trace were guests on the Real Spoilers podcast (which also aired on KXFN 1380 AM in St. Louis). He was interviewed by Tom O’Keefe, Kevin Brackett, Dan Graney and Joe Buttice. Listen to it here. (Note: some salty language.)

And Trace called in to the Radio of Horror show on WCUW 91.3 FM in Worcester, Mass. He was interviewed by Dr. Chris, Jerome, Jenny and Ryan. The interview is on youtube.

This is the interview where Trace said Joel made him a very nice offer to be on the new series but he declined. It’s around 15:30.

Really strange, he’s made a lot of cryptic comments on twitter that might indicate bad blood or strong creative differences. Then you hear he received a very nice offer.
I don’t know what to think.

thad: hmm which interview, since there’s two posted here? i listened to the kxfn one (the first one) but must’ve missed that part. (gotta say, it was a hilarious interview; must be heard to hear frank’s santa claus “sexual disfunction” joke; that occurs shortly after the – i daresay – brilliantly tasteless “casper the friendly ghost” jokes. those were real groaners, but brilliantly “woooowww that’s bad” kinda way lol!) hadn’t listened to the the wcuw interview yet.

man, i don’t get why people are so confused… these guys are twenty-to-25 years on now from sitting on their butts with their arms cramped holding them up for an hour-and-a-half-plus at a time per show… they physically just don’t want to return to that routine. is that so hard to figure out? i don’t blame them… i’ll miss them doing that! but i don’t blame ’em.

I get the impression that he and Frank think Joel should have done more to communicate with the old cast/writers before launching the Kickstarter, to give them a heads-up, etc., but that they’re busy with their own thing anyway. They’ve both had nothing but praise for the new cast.

I apologize; it’s the other one (WCUW/Radio of Horror). I misread the post and thought Trace was only in the second interview, which would have made my comment self-explanatory; I thought it was one Frank interview and one Trace interview, not one with both of them and another with just Trace.
