    Is it just me or are these guys not trying anymore to put out a good product. It just wasn’t funny.

    I just got SHORTS 2 and the ONE GOT FAT was almost unwatchable. The sound quality was terrible with the soundtrack and riffs volume dropping in and out. The others were ok but nothing like the belly splitters they turned out on MST.

    It may be awhile before I spend my money on a Rifftax product.

    It may just be you… One Got Fat is one of my favorite shorts. You’re entitled to your opinion, of course.

    I thought this one was wonderful. I sincerely hope that Rifftrax continues to put out two shorts a week like this for years. It makes my night whenever there is a new short.

    @dcb #2…

    I have no idea what you are talking about. I have both the downloaded version of One Got Fat and the Shorts 2 DVD and the audio is perfectly fine on both of them. I have downloaded all the shorts so far and now have both DVDs, and the only short I can recall having any problems with was “Overcoming Fear” which did have some audio issues. I’ve complained as much as anyone about Rifftrax doing too many good movies and such, but their shorts are absolutely brilliant. I have loved them all, and will now instantly drop $.99 on any they release on the spot.

    I’ll probably buy all their Shorts DVDs eventually, but I agree that their commentary here overpowered the actual short’s VO just a tad too much. I mean, you have to be able to somewhat follow what the film’s creators were trying (and usually failing) to get across or the riffing doesn’t work as well.
