MST3K:TM Screening in Chesapeake, VirginiaThe Fantasci sci-fi convention will be showing “Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie” at 8:00 p.m. on June 6 at the Chesapeake Central Library, 298 Cedar Road, in Chesapeake, VA. The convention and movie showing are free and open to the public. Look for more details to be posted on the library’s Web site, as well as on librarian Jim Blanton’s blog.

This is so awesome! For once I don’t have to travel for an MST3K-like event, since I live less than 10 minutes from the library. I’m not a huge Sci-Fi, but I will defintely be there for at least the movie.
