Yes, it’s a “live” performance that is being streamed on Saturday night.

Once you purchase your ticket, you are emailed a code which is entered on this webpage at that time, to be able to view the “live” stream:

I realize now the way I worded the previous post may be a little confusing for anyone who isn’t clear on what this is, or how to go about streaming it on a computer, tablet, or mobile device, so here goes….

It’s a live stream, viewed online only, of the play, “Hate Mail” (co-written by Bill Corbett) that anybody can view on Saturday night (5/9/2020) at 9 p.m. Eastern, by purchasing a ticket any time between now and then, by clicking on the “Register Now” button here:

    https://hatemail.simpletix.com/e/53553

It then walks you through the process to enter your credit card to make your ticket purchase (tickets are $5.00 each, OR you can elect to pay $10.00 instead, which includes one ticket AND an additional $5.00 donation to Partners In Health, the beneficiary of this performance), and once you complete the purchase, you will then be emailed a unique code that you will enter on this webpage, the night of the show to actually view the live stream of the play itself on your device:

    There, now…..clear as MUD…..RIGHT ?? ;-)

Did anybody catch it? I tried but the payment form kept timing out and I eventually gave up.

Any good? And is the stream still up anywhere where people can watch it?

It hasn’t happened yet, Thad. It’s a live stream, online only performance of the play “Hate Mail”, that’s this Saturday night (May 9th) at 9 p.m. Eastern.

Personally I had no issues purchasing a ticket, but if there have since been issues, you have until the above time on Saturday to purchase your ticket. Once you do, they immediately email you a code to enter on the “Hate Mail” website (see post above), and you are then able to stream the performance online on your device the night of the show…. :-)

Right you are. Guess I missed the “SAT MAY 9” line at the bottom of the header graphic and just saw “The performance will begin at 9pm Eastern, 6 pm Pacific” in the article text.

Thanks for the correction; guess I’ve got a few days to try again.

I got an email from simpletix. If you bought a ticket but missed the performance, it’ll be available free on their website for the rest of the week. Otherwise, it should be available on their Vimeo on Demand page. Search under “hate mail live”.
