I clicked the link to see if it was the cheapo PD cable version now streaming for free on Amazon Prime and Tubi. I was not disappointed in my assumption.
(And, as 80’s-cable budgeted Aladdins go, it’s definitely NOT the version that Tim Burton directed for Shelley Duvall: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRUtgJ2FJng )
Shooting fish in a barrel. That’s the phrase that comes to mind with this flick. Can a straight-to-video movie still be called a flick if it doesn’t flicker?
Too bad the kid who played Aladdin never acted again. I find him more likable than Zac Efron.
Maybe sometime Barry Bostwick will appear on a talk show, and they’ll play a clip from this film.
As far as I can determine, none of the people involved with this production worked on any MST3K films.
Given how many movies have been done by MST/Rifftrax, that’s a pretty amazing statistic.
Not that I expect this comment to get posted, because apparently my comments are not acceptable to this site, but other user’s misogynistic comments are ok.
Like Barry Bostwick says, you just have to know how to Madison.
Let’s start a MST3K/Rifftrax chat room sometime and block you-know-who.
This had to be one of their shorter VOD riffs that isn’t a short- it only clocks in at 59 minutes!
