RIP Michiaki Watanabe TOKYO — prolific score composer Michiaki “Chumei” Watanabe died at a hospital here on June 23. He was 96.Among the hundreds of scores he penned was the one for the movie in episode 819- INVASION OF THE NEPTUNE MEN. I just bought a soundtrack cd on Amazon for the Japanese Spiderman series crediting Watanabe for the music. Geez.
