RIP Norman Reynolds

Norman Reynolds, the two-time Oscar-winning production and art designer, one of the creative forces behind the look of the “Star Wars” and “Indiana Jones” movies and who director Steven Spielberg once called the “creative core” of the franchises, died April 6. He was 89.

Early in his career, he worked as assistant art director for the movie in episode K09- PHASE IV.

The Guardian has a nice retrospective.

Thanks to Tim for the heads up.
