They go to some length to point out that the gruff old man has eyebrows. He does. Whenever I go to get my hair cut at the chain hair place the stylist usually concludes the process by asking if would like her to trim my eyebrows. Since I do not want to end up with the tiny eyebrows of a thirties Hollywood starlet I decline. Is this a new style thing? Tell me, ladies. Are men with androgynous eyebrows the new hot look?
Yeah, it can be pretty annoying when the riffers latch onto one thing and just won’t let it go.
Especially when said thing is incredibly minor. A particularly egregious example is ‘The Space Children’ where, when finally confronted with the guy who plays Mr. Drysdale after tons of “Oh Mr. Drysdale!” jokes, fails to make a single reference and instead unleash a cavalcade of lame bald jokes.
Even Sampo had to point out how bad that was.
That being said, the old guy in the short does have ridiculous eyebrows…
For me the annoying one was in Fugitive Alien with Crows “again” everytime they said Rocky. (and really no jokes about the film Rocky which was more associated with Rocky then the squirrel in 1991!)
Anyway, back to this, this does look like another great Christmas one!
It’s this time a year again when they go crazy with some hilarious shorts!
