    I am of two minds on this one. On one side any time you can throw in a Mark Twain riff it is good. On the other side it seems a little bit like putting graffiti on a monument.

    John Oliver (“Last Week Tonight”) announced that “Steamboat Willie” was going to become public domain this year.

    He had a mascot on that was not benevolent.

    Hooray for our three “Riffakteers” Mike, Kevin, and Bill to parody this short with humor and intelligence.

    There’s nothing outrageous about the riffing. It was funny, but the guys aren’t crapping on a piece of animation history either. I guess it’s been longer than I thought since I’ve watched Steamboat Willie. I forgot that no characters actually speak.
